MEDICAL

In most states with medical programs, patients are issued a discounted tax rate. Also, in states allowing recreational use, patients are generally expedited to the front of the line to recieve their medication.

RECREATIONAL

First and foremost, cannabis remains federally illegal, and is listed as a scheduled 1 drug. For all state-approved legal cannabis users, cannabis is generally treated similarly to alcohol. You are allowed to transport unopened containers but be sure to keep them in the trunk if possible.
